The Daybook

The Daybook is a working ledger of your next stretch of days — every task, appointment, milestone, and checklist item laid out on one printable sheet. Where Today answers "what's urgent right now," the Daybook shows the shape of the week and a half ahead.

The spread

Days run left to right as columns, starting today. The spread defaults to ten days; switch to 7 days or 14 days from the toolbar, and the choice sticks. A red line marks the current time on today's column. Prev week and Next week page the window; Jump to today brings you back.

Lanes

Rows are lanes, one per thing that owns work, in three sections:

• Your spread — a single lane of everything you've personally scheduled or created.
• Active transactions — one lane per open deal, sorted so at-risk files rise to the top. Each lane header shows the deal's health and stage, with one-click jumps to the file, its docs, and its notes.
• Buyers in the field — one lane per contact with a buying timeframe set who isn't on a deal yet, so active hunts stay visible.

The Lens toggle (All / Deals / Buyers) narrows the sheet to one section when you need it.

Chits

Each tile on the grid — a chit — is one commitment: a task, an appointment, a deal milestone, or a checklist item. Color carries urgency: overdue work and at-risk files run hot, work due within a day sits in amber, future work stays quiet, and completed work fades out. Click a chit to act on it — tasks and checklist items open right there; appointments open the calendar; milestones open the deal.

Drag to reschedule

Drag a chit along its lane to another day and the underlying record moves with it — tasks keep their time of day, appointments keep their duration. Milestones and recurring entries can't be dragged; those are edited on the deal page and via the chit itself.

Common entries

The dock at the bottom is a row of one-tap starters for the entries you make constantly: Log call, Send email, Schedule tour, Draft offer, Open house, Sphere touch, New lead, and Upload doc. Each one asks who or which deal, then drops you into the right flow — a call is logged or a tour scheduled without ever leaving the sheet. (A couple, like e-sign requests, are marked coming soon.)

Print it

Print page strips the toolbar and dock and prints the ledger itself — a clean paper copy of the spread for a car day or a desk without a second monitor.

The Daybook is built for desktop. On a phone, use Today — it carries the same commitments in a single-column form.
