Billing and plans
Choosing a tier, changing plans, seat limits, and how trials work.
Billing is per workspace, not per head: one flat price for the tier that matches your shape, with support staff free. No usage meters, no surprise line items.
The three tiers
- Solo — $29.99/month or $299.99/year. One agent seat, the full product.
- Team — $89.99/month or $899.99/year. Up to 5 agent seats, plus teams and entity-level sharing.
- Brokerage — $199.99/month or $1,999/year. Up to 15 agent seats.
Seats count owners and agents only — assistants and collaborators are free in any number (see Invite your team). Annual billing works out to roughly two months free.
The 14-day trial
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You pick a plan and add a card up front, and the first charge happens when the trial ends — cancel any time before day 14 from Settings → Billing and you pay nothing. While you're trialing, the Billing page shows exactly how many days remain.
Where billing lives
Billing appears in the sidebar for the workspace owner only. The Subscription card shows your plan and interval, status, seat allowance, and the next renewal date. No subscription yet? The same page carries the plan picker with a Monthly / Annual toggle.
Managing the subscription
Manage billing opens the Stripe billing portal — update the payment method, switch plans or intervals, view invoices, or cancel. Two things live in Northpoint itself: Pause subscription stops charges while keeping your access through the period you've already paid for (and Resume subscription undoes it), and the plan picker handles first-time checkout.
If your subscription lapses
Nothing is deleted — ever. A lapsed workspace drops to read-only: your data stays safe and fully visible, and editing returns the moment a payment method is added. After a cancellation, everything remains viewable and resubscribing restores full access. Your book is also always yours to take: see Exporting your data.
